I’ve given up on my dreams of becoming a published romance writers too many times to let it go again.  For twenty or so years, off and on, I’ve struggled with the day-to-day ups and downs of being a writer.  When I finally sold a book, I thought I was on my way.  Until the bottom fell out of my life, and LoveStruck Books decided to close shop on buying new books.  I now own the rights to the two sold to them once again.

But I’m not giving up!

In 2008, I sold one of those two books.  I’ve just release my fourth book, the first in a five book series and this summer my first paranormal will be released. I now write for four different electronic publishers. Writing is a hectic life, with a new type of ups and downs, but it’s worth it.

If you have a dream, do not give up on it.

So many people have helped me along the way, and I’d like to help others in return. If you’d like to be a guest on my blog, please email me at theresastillwagon@yahoo.com.

  1. Never give up on your dreams. My main publisher, Triskelion, closed their doors in the summer of 2007. It took me a while to find new publishers, but I have three now, and soon fifteen books out.

  2. My dream was to get published; being published does not mean having readers discover you. Even harder than finding publishers, IMHO, is connecting with readers! There are only so many hours in the day, and so many chat lines you can follow, and still make the time to write!

  3. Hi Teresea, Love your Blogsite. Any chance I could get a spot between Aug and September? I have three romances coming out (epubbed) between Aug and Sept. AspenMountain two and Desert Breeze one.
    Love to chat.
