Six Sentence Sunday

Here’s another bit of The Treasure Myth. This is Susan remembering her past, and commenting on the present. The man she thinking about, of course, is Jed.

Next time I’m going to find something between Susan and Jed.

Don’t forget to check out other Six Sentence Sunday excerpt.

Some things never change. Susan glanced at her aunt before settling back into her chair and grabbing her now cold cup of coffee. She wasn’t fighting with the man now, not about something he’d always had such a hard time believing in. She studied the dark liquid swirling around inside her cup, remembering a time when she was just as cynical as Jed.

Until the night she’d sneaked into the attic.

She still fought those nightmares to this day.
