Six Sentence Sunday

And once again for your enjoyment and pleasure, I hope, another segment from my WIP, The Treasure Myth. A hint about why I call it that. The hero, Jed, is the questioning ‘he’ here.

          He twisted toward the older man. “You’ve got to be kidding? Everyone knows that’s just a myth.”

          “A myth that caused three men to kill my parents,” Thelma said lightly, “And my three brothers and sister. Those murderers believed in the treasure.” Her voice choked on the last words. “If there was no treasure my family would still be alive.”
